چکیده
Children’s exposure to particulate matter (PM) is of great interest because it can cause adverse health effects, including asthma, and decreased lung function. The purpose this study was determine the levels PM in low socio-economic status homes Omaha, Nebraska. Between October 2018 September 2019, we collected ambient air samples from 30 homes, which 70% had at least one asthmatic child. Samples were 2-foot level 4-foot approximate breathing zones toddlers older children, respectively. We also asked participants questions related indoor quality (IAQ). Indoor ranged 4.28 72.81 μg/m3. There a significant association between IAQ furnace filter (dirty or clean) (p = 0.023, OR 7.5 [95% confidence interval: 1.40, 39.84]). found that suggests with housekeeping 0.05, 4.76 0.95, 23.86]). varied significantly 2 feet 4 < 0.05). could differ substantially depending on filter’s status. In addition, depend child’s height.

Levels of Fine Particulate Matter Bound Trace Metals in Air of Glass Industrial Area; Firozabad
The present study deals with sequential extraction of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) bound trace metals in an industrial area of Firozabad, India. During the study period, daily PM2.5 concentration ranged between 73.49 μg/m3 and 113.26 μg/m3 with poor air quality index of 196.37. In the present study, Ca recorded the highest while Co had the lowest concentration among all analysed metals. Mn, ...
